Mary is hugely committed to developing her skills to bring another dimension to her teaching but also keeping up to date with current research into the benefits of Pilates.   She believes that we never stop learning. 

Mary believes passionately about Pilates and works hard to bring tailor-made classes to all her clients whether you book as a private or group class; helping you to achieve your goals and get the results you need.


Mary follows the practice developed by Joseph Pilates in 1920, was originally designed to help injured servicemen and consisted of various exercises performed on hospital beds.  It's development through the years has meant it's appeal is now far reaching to all populations regardless of age, level of fitness and mobility. Pilates is now integrated into nearly all top level sports as it's benefits are huge.  

Pilates is a series of exercises focusing on strengthening the core, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall body alignment and balance. It emphasises controlled movements, precise form, and breath control, aiming to build strength and flexibility through low-impact exercises suitable for all fitness levels.
