YIN YOGA MASTERCLASS - Yin Yoga & the Story of Yoga: The Observer’s Path
with Tessa
Saturday 20th June
2:30pm – 4pm
£35
This masterclass blends storytelling with embodied Yin practice to reconnect you with the roots of yoga. We’ll explore how early yogis, and later the Buddha, studied nature, breath, and human behaviour to understand suffering and how to ease it. Their path was one of observation, stillness, and deep listening, which mirrors the essence of Yin Yoga today.
As you settle into long, meditative holds, you’ll hear the story of yoga’s evolution and how these ancient teachings invite us to witness the body without reacting. We’ll combine philosophy, fascia, and anatomy with a grounding physical practice focused on the hips and spine, encouraging joint liberation, introspection, and a renewed sense of connection to yoga’s lineage.

YIN YOGA MASTERCLASS - Yin Yoga & the Yamas & Niyamas: The Heart of Yoga
with Tessa
Saturday 4th July
2:30pm – 4pm
£35
A reflective and inspiring 90 minute exploration of yoga’s ethical foundations, the Yamas and Niyamas. These ten guiding principles offer a compassionate framework for how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. In this masterclass, each principle is introduced in a simple, accessible way, with real life examples and an invitation to explore how it can be embodied both on and off the mat.
Through slow, spacious Yin poses, we’ll connect these teachings to the physical body—feeling non harm, truthfulness, contentment, discipline, surrender, and more as lived experiences. With a focus on the hips and spine, the practice supports joint freedom, emotional clarity, and a deeper understanding of yoga as a way of living, not just moving
