Nutritional Therapist MBA BSc (Hons) mBANT

Jenny has a first Degree in Chemistry, an MBA from Henley Business School and a Degree in Nutritional Medicine from Thames Valley University. She is also a qualified yoga teacher.

Jenny is a full member of BANT (British Association of Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy) and bound by their Code of Ethics and Practice. She is registered with CNHC (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council).

Jenny is also author of Eat to Outsmart Cancer. Her specialism is evidence based nutritional and lifestyle advice which can be applied to any health concern and also in prevention. She provides a functional medicine approach which works well alongside mainstream medicine. Fundamentally this involves looking at health from a holistic perspective – identifying connections and interactions between the various bodily systems. The aim is to restore homeostasis and facilitate the body to heal through root cause resolution. What is it that has contributed to the disease state?

Originally from a scientific background, Jenny developed a keen interest in healthcare following her own recovery from breast cancer in 2003. Through diagnosis, what she learnt about food, nutrition and health shocked her. That you can change your biochemistry through what you eat and how you live your life gave her a whole new perspective. In addition to medical treatment, she dramatically changed her diet, took supplements, and embraced lifestyle change including yoga and meditation. It was easy for Jenny to maintain these changes because the rewards were that she had never felt so good! Her aim now is to inspire others to take control of their own health. To resolve any niggly symptoms at an early stage before they manifest into something more serious, or to help poeple recover health and thrive. Look out for Jenny's workshops here.
